- permanent update - quotes are updated continuously at custom frequency.

- customizable symbols - you can use any symbols supported by the quote source
- trend icons - trend of symbols is depicted using image icons
- The script requires a quote data source. The quote data part of the script is modular and allows simple customization and integration with other quote feeds, without interfering with the scripting code for ticker content bulding.
There are currently offered two modules that demonstrate how to integrate the ticker with other quote data source:
- Random module: basic module that demonstrates how the quote data connector works
- Yahoo Finance! module: demonstrates how to connect the ticker with a CSV quote data feed
Requirements: · on server side: PHP with allow_url_fopen setting enabled · on client side: JavaScript and CSS
